History of the American Flag

1. The origin of the flag is actually unknown to historians even though most believe Betsy Ross made the original. 2. The flag got involved in that flag came about on June 14, 1777 when congress passed the first of three major flag acts . 3. The graphic design choices along with the color and choices of shapes all have meaning. The white stands for purity and innocence. The blue for vigilance, justice, and perseverance. The red is for valor and hardiness. The design hasn't changed much other then from the stars being in a circle originally then having 13 starts in rows, then more and more stars came. But luckily, nothing too dramatic has happened to the flag. 4. The flag seems to mean that our country stands for justice, purity, and hardiness. The flag is an important symbol that has been cherished since it was made and will be continued to be. 5. What is culture? What is my culture?

What is culture?  What is my culture?  Culture:  the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.  1. Here is how I see American culture. Here in America there is a lot of room to be creative and express yourself, and a lot of things to do that can show you how our culture is different from others. Most of us are really family oriented and like to have family dinners and go do things as a family because it's a really important thing in America to have a good relationship with family. Overall, we're pretty nice people and very accepting so there's no use in being nervous. I feel the biggest shock will be the difference in food and transportation. We have so many fast food restaurants and fried food it would be totally different.  2. I did have a cultural shock when I went to Costa Maya, Mexico last October with my mom.
